Friends of Eastside Little League
Eastside Little League is a special organization for many reasons. Eastside began in 1951 remains a vibrant and active youth baseball organization in the city.
Those of us on the Board of Directors feel that part of this vibrancy is because of how hard the Eastside Little League community works to keep the organization a healthy, safe outlet for children. Unlike many Little League organizations, Eastside does not have city or town employees maintaining the fields or funding capital improvement projects. In addition, we are committed to providing an opportunity for youth to participate in baseball regardless of their ability to pay.
To this end, the Board of Directors created the Friends of Eastside. Friends of Eastside is a fundraising initiative that will exclusively benefit the Eastside Little League by
(1) Making Capital Improvements Reality and
(2) Expanding Opportunities for Children to Learn through Baseball by Subsidizing Camps,
Participation, Travel & Developmental Programs.
The Eastside Little League community has stepped up to the plate, and since 2011, the Friends of Eastside has raised over $5,000.
Sparks
In 2013, Eastside Little League welcomed a new and important member to our community.
“Sparks” joined our community.
In addition, new logos are shown throughout to show our new brand celebrating Sparks.
