WELCOME TO EASTSIDE LITTLE LEAGUE IN ROCHESTER, NY

WE ARE A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION THAT IS DEDICATED TO THE EDUCATION OF TEAM PLAY FOR CHILDREN.  EACH DIVISION IS AGE BASED. SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING IS AVAILABLE UPON APPLICATION.

The 2017 Season Is Almost Here!

  • Registration is OPEN. Due to problems with the web site, some on-line registrations may not have been received. IF YOU REGISTERED ON-LINE AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION BY E-MAIL, PLEASE SUBMIT ANOTHER REGISTRATION FORM. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • Player Evaluations for BASEBALL MINORS (age 8-10) and BASEBALL MAJORS (age 10-12) will be held at East High School SATURDAY, March 11, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Minors start at 2:00, Majors at 3:00.
  • WALK-IN registrations will be taken at the player evaluations on March 11 at East High School.
  • We are in serious need of COACHES and ASSISTANT COACHES for our teams at Tee Ball, Rookie, Minors and Majors Baseball. Don’t miss the opportunity to work with our kids! Mentoring and training will be provided. Contact the appropriate Commissioner listed under the Board of Directors on the website.
  • Big Al “ Price Coach Clinic will be on April 1 at Eastridge High School. ALL Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Parents should attend. This is a FREE clinic.
  • The Annual Coach Meeting and Player Draft for Minors/Majors Baseball will be March 25 at 10:00 at East High School. We had to move it from The Ryan Center due to other event being held there.

Players at all levels except Tee Ball and Rookie MUST be registered to play BY MARCH 25, 2017 or they will NOT be able to play for Eastside for the 2017 season. Registrations for Tee Ball and Rookie will be accepted until April 22.

Remember that Eastside is an ALL VOLUNTEER league. It is the responsibility of ALL our parents, coaches and Board members to pull their weight to assist in the operation of the League. I offer my thanks to those that have been doing the work, but note a small number of people have done a majority of the work to keep the League running. It is not uncommon to see numerous parents in the stands watching as a coach and/or Board member is working on a field preparing for a game. Lend a hand! The City of Rochester provides NO ongoing maintenance of the fields other than cutting grass: ALL other work is done by Eastside volunteers. If we have to pay for the maintenance of the fields, registration costs will go up dramatically.

HELP US PROVIDE THE QUALITY FACILITIES OUR KIDS DESERVE!
